In doing so, Civic Union of Young Roma from Romania mitigates the risk that its staff and programmes pose a risk to children and/or vulnerable adults. In addition, Civic Union of Young Roma from Romania’s child protection policy recognizes that some children are more vulnerable to abuse and therefore outlines measures to take to address increased vulnerabilities and protect them from harm. For the purpose of this policy whenever it is referred to a child the same also applies to a vulnerable adult.
